Imported data must match the column configuration of the current chart. You will be alerted if the columns from the imported document do not match the columns in your chart, and you will have to cancel the import operation.
When you import data into a project, MacProject II searches all the tasks or resources in the active chart (not just the ones that are visible) to match the imported task or resource name to an existing name. If a match is found, the new data replaces the old data associated with the name.

Import Data is available only in the Project Table, Resource Table, and Task Cost Entry Table.
Data that you can import must be in the form of text files. The files can be in tab-delimited, comma-separated (CSV), merge, SYLK, or DIF format.
